In this universe the human experience is as sweet and vibrant as the ripest fruit. That doesn’t mean pain does not exist here, in fact this space is where people like me go to release their grief, and replace it with rest. My characters roam free, bare, always connected to the land around them. Often times being vessels that produce new life as budding flowers and wise trees. My work aims to be an Afro futuristic landscape where nature comes with us. Society imagines futures with no nature the same way it imagines a future with no black folk. In my universe they are inseparable companions.
